"I Believe"

We have begun a new initiative for adult faith formation in the parish called "I Believe!" This is for all adults to learn more about our Catholic faith and to grow in a community of fellow learners. It is also especially for non-Catholic who are interested in becoming Catholic!  The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the ritual expression of this faith journey that non-Catholic and non-Christian are on to become Catholic.  But we are all on a faith journey and can always benefit from more faith formation.  Remember,  faith is like fire: when it is shared, it does not diminish, but it increases!

I Believe! will meet on Sundays after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in the parish center. Some snacks or a light lunch will be provided, and the session will begin with prayer.  The group will watch a video of approximately 30-40 minutes, and then a team member will lead a discussion.  The meeting concludes by 1:15 p.m.

So, if you're Catholic and want to learn more about your faith, or you're not Catholic but you're interested in learning about what Catholics believe, join us!

Please let Emily Pickett or Bonnye Mueggenborg know if you are interested in joining us, volunteering as a team member to lead sessions, or to provide food.
